What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day?

Apryl Says: I would have to say my family’s flash mob at the reception. I am blessed with the best family in the world and how they made my and Ross’s day extra special was nothing short of amazing. You couldn’t beat seeing my 87 year old grandma dance to Uptown Funk.

Ross Says: Seeing Apryl in her dress for the first time. She looked beautiful.

Jessica’s Take: While taking some portraits of Apryl, we were chatting and I asked her how she thought the first look went (as I thought it was one of the sweetest I’d been a part of). She looked over at Ross, who was waiting in the wings and chatting with his groomsmen, and told me, “I just love him so much.”

What was your favorite detail of the wedding day?

Apryl Says: I was so excited about how everything came together. I don’t have a favorite detail but I honestly had the best team. From the stunning flowers by Victoria’s Garden; beautiful and delicious cupcakes by Star Spangled Batter; wonderful officiant, Mary Maisley Ireland, who allowed us to personalize our wedding and get us all the special details we wanted and dreamed of; Center Stage Entertainment who kept everyone entertained all evening; Custer State Park who provided amazing food and the most beautiful venue; our photographer, Jessica, I love the photos I’ve seen so far and can’t wait to see more and last but not least my husband (yay! love calling him that!) who helped me make all the decor and really make our day be everything I’ve dreamed of and “pinned” for years.

Ross Says: The cupcakes. The display was great and the cupcakes themselves were delicious! Star Spangled Batter did a good job!

Jessica’s Take: My favorite things were the wooden cross that Ross made for the ceremony and Apryl’s amazing bouquet. I also loved the sleeve detail on her dress.

Any advice for other couples planning a wedding?

Apryl Says: Try to do as much as you can in advance to limit the stress the week of the wedding, and surround yourself with amazing family and friends who will help you the day of the wedding. I couldn’t have done it without them!

Ross Says: Everything will come together just take time to enjoy the day and take in every detail.

What’s the best part about being married so far?

Having a shorter last name! Haha, kidding. But honestly, waking up next to the love of my life and looking forward to futures chapters.

Ross Says: Calling Apryl my wife and woking on the future and concentrating on our lives together.
