What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

S & J Say: Our wedding day was exactly how we imagined it. Actually it was better than we imagined. It embodied who we are and it was the best day of our lives. It was all memorable.

Jessica’s Take: I adored Sterling and Jessica’s ceremony. Sterling’s brother officiated the wedding, which included a handful of their closest friends and family. It just doesn’t get any more personal or special than that! Also, I loved the getting-ready portion of the day. It was clear that Jessica (who was the picture of calm and happiness) and her girls really treasured that time together. And if that isn’t enough, they’re first dance was pretty amazing, too.

What was your favorite detail?

S & J Say: Our favorite detail were the places that the events were held. We believe places play a big part in who we grow to be, and Custer State Park and Canyon Lake are very special places for us with a lot of meaning.

Jessica’s Take: I couldn’t get over Jessica’s dress! She was stunning.

Any advice for other couples planning a wedding?

Keep calm and laugh. Do a little planning everyday and try to finish up all the planning a couple of weeks before so you can just relax and be in the moment with your family and friends when they arrive.

What’s the best part of being married so far?

Thinking about our future and all the things we can accomplish together…and our honeymoon!
