Meet C.J. and Whitney. They’re very fun, very beautiful, and are very excited to be getting married next spring in Whitney’s hometown, Birmingham, AL. There were a whole lot of factors that went into making this one of my favorite engagement sessions ever—gorgeous light, lighthearted company, and endless laughter being at the top of the list. The fact that they’re extra stylish and madly in love didn’t hurt, either.

As sappy as it may sound, my favorite thing about C.J has to be his hugs…he gives the best hugs! No matter how I’m feeling, he can give me a hug and turn my entire day around. His hugs always make me feel loved!
She knew she would marry him when…
I knew that I would marry C.J. after countless road trips. Riding in the car for long periods of time is probably one of my least favorite things EVER. Usually, I’m the first one to say, “BOOK A FLIGHT!”, but road trips with C.J. are the exception! We just talk and make up fun games (fun to us at least) to pass the time. He is the only person I could ever enjoy a road trip with, and I look forward to road trips with this guy for the rest of my life! (Whitney, this answer made me smile! -js)
C.J.’s favorite thing about Whitney:
My favorite thing about Whitney is her drive and tenacity. She strives for excellence and does not like the word NO. Every “i” is dotted and every “t” is crossed no matter the situation.
He knew he would marry her when…
I knew would marry Whitney when she supported me and my family, and was there for me when my mom had her heart transplant.
