Andrew & BryAnn: Rapid City Engagement Photographer

Last month I got to meet Andrew and BryAnn at her family’s cabin in the Hills, and I left feeling overjoyed that my job involves time spent with smart, kind, genuine people who love each other dearly. Does it get any better than that? We roamed the area looking for light, laughing at Andrew’s secret plan to get BryAnn to have lunch with him (it worked!), and talking about their favorite restaurants and BryAnn’s adventures as a food columnist. We even found time to take engagement photos.

BryAnn & Andrew, thank you so much for inviting me to the cabin and for being such delightful company. I can’t wait until your wedding in September! Enjoy a few of my favorites!

BryAnn’s favorite thing about Andrew:
I love Andrew’s sense of humor and his charm. I love how he makes me laugh and how he has such a positive attitude about life. Andrew also shows his love in such sweet and caring ways. I often refer to him as my cheerleader—when I doubt myself, he is always there beside me, cheering me on and believing in me. I honestly don’t know what I would do without him.

BryAnn knew she’d marry Andrew when…
Andrew and I spent many years in a long-distance relationship before we were engaged. Weekend after weekend, I remember my heart aching as he left to drive back across the state, or as I left to go the other way. I remember one weekend when, after an emotional week during college, I drove across the state during a blizzard because I just had to see him. Our love has only grown because of the miles we have spent apart. When he proposed to me, we both joyously knew that, finally, everything had fallen into place.

Andrew’s favorite thing about BryAnn:
Her passion and spirit. How much she loves to go on adventures. She loves to explore and expand her horizons and try new things and see new places and she makes me want to do the same.

Andrew knew he’d marry BryAnn when…
Over our years together I realized that I was no longer picturing a future for myself that she wasn’t a part of. I simply couldn’t imagine living a life where she wasn’t by my side.
