It’s safe to say that Laura would have happily agreed to be Casey’s bride no matter what the circumstances, but it didn’t hurt that his proposal included a puppy. In December, Casey surprised Laura with a diamond ring and a golden retriever, and this coming September, the three of them will officially begin their happily-ever-after.
We met up a few weeks ago in downtown Rapid City (you’ll know it was spring—the proof is in the weather!), and I was one happy camper wandering with them with my camera in tow. As you’ll see, they made my job extra easy.
Casey and Laura, thank you so much for meeting me for a walk in the snow. I can’t tell you how excited I am for your wedding this fall! Enjoy a few of my favorites!
Laura’s favorite thing about Casey:
My favorite thing about Casey is how he can make me laugh after having a bad day or if I was in a bad mood. He just all around makes me a better person.
Laura knew she’d marry him when…
I knew I would marry him after a few months of hanging out. He was always down for having a good time and I loved that about him. He made me feel like I could just be me around him and his friends.
Casey’s favorite thing about Laura:
She’s the best cook I’ve ever known. And, she’s a loving and caring person that’s takes care of me.
Casey knew he’d marry her when…
I realized how easy she was to get along with and fun to be around, just a short while after we began dating.
As Casey can attest, engagement photos are VERY exciting. 🙂
