It’s safe to say that Laura would have happily agreed to be Casey’s bride no matter what the circumstances, but it didn’t hurt that his proposal included a puppy. In December, Casey surprised Laura with a diamond ring and a golden retriever, and this coming September, the three of them will officially begin their happily-ever-after.
We met up a few weeks ago in downtown Rapid City (you’ll know it was spring—the proof is in the weather!), and I was one happy camper wandering with them with my camera in tow. As you’ll see, they made my job extra easy.
