It had been awhile since I’d seen 4:30 a.m., but let me tell you, it was worth it.
I met Dustin and Tyffany at his brother Joel’s wedding in June, and despite the fact that I knew I wouldn’t be able to find their house again, I was excited to be invited back to take engagement photos. We got started at 6:00 a.m., and the light was perfect. We trekked through the dry creek bed and made our way through fields of grass as tall as my waist. Dustin said I should go ahead and lead the way because I tended to deviate after seeing something pretty. It was true. That happened.
Dustin and Tyffany are so much fun to be around. I couldn’t stop laughing when they were talking about him finally asking her on their first date. She was the one who knew right away she had to get to know him, and he waited way too long to call. (A month according to her, “like a week” according to him.) And then he didn’t even leave a message.
Tyffany and Dustin, I’m so excited for your October wedding! I loved getting to know you both better, and can’t wait to work with you and your families again. Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Oh my goodness (stole the phrase from my 8 year old granddaughter) this is a beautiful post. It was well worth your early morning rise to be with this couple. If anyone asks, my favorite is the third one down.
They turned out great, thank you so much for capturing some cute kissing moments and of course, those sweet stare at one another quietly moments that I hold so dear! I cant wait to get our first married kiss on camera =)
