Dereck, Deidre and Cammy met me at the park a couple of weeks ago for family pictures. Our first attempt was called on account of rain (crazy year we’ve had), so I couldn’t wait to see them again. Kids like Cammy are part of the reason I love what I do. Her smiles are genuine and her imagination is always on the run.
Cammy brought along a few of her favorite toys, including a brightly colored, fold-up tunnel. It was hilarious to watch the three of them play with it, and resulted in some of my favorite photos from the day. Cammy couldn’t stop laughing when her dad would chase her through or put the tunnel on it’s vertical end to hide her completely. There were geese to watch, an imaginary meal to prepare, and a tree to be chased around and around and around. Pine cones were thrown into the water, which Dereck took as the perfect opportunity to work on Cammy’s form. She was throwing them overhand in no time. “It’s never too early,” he said.
Dereck and Deidre, thank you so much for round two! I had a great time getting to visit with you play with your sweet girl. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!
