This is the lovely Katie and Myles, and I wish I could photograph them on a weekly basis. We met up for engagement photos while Katie was in town visiting from Alaska (and now the Pacific Northwest), and I couldn’t have imagined a better afternoon. Katie, what’s your favorite thing about Myles?
It’s so hard to narrow down my favorite thing about a person with so many amazing qualities. Since I have to choose one, I would have to say that my favorite thing about Myles is his heart. He is one of the most gentle, caring and compassionate people that I know. Every single day he continues to amaze me with how big his heart is. Whether it be by showing patience, forgiveness or understanding he never stops. I feel so blessed to have found someone as incredible as him to spend forever with!
You knew you’d marry him when…
It wasn’t until about a week after I started seeing Myles that I knew I would marry him. I can’t really put my finger on the exact moment when I just knew I would marry him or if I even had one. I just remember noticing this overwhelming feeling that I get every single time that I am around him. It’s a mixture of excitement, happiness, relief, peacefulness and just about every other amazing feeling you can think of! Everything just seems right when we are together. He’s the person that I can’t wait to tell every detail of my day to and spend my time with.
Myles, what’s your favorite thing about Katie?
My favorite thing about Katie is that she is very thoughtful. She is always doing fun things and going out of her way to make me and everyone around her happy.
You knew you’d marry her when…
I knew I would marry Katie after three days. From the beginning the conversation and connection came so easy and just fell into place.
