Glen and Sam meandered downtown with me for photos a few weeks back, and I couldn’t be more excited that I get to be a small part of their “I-do’s” next year. Because they’re really funny. And lighthearted. And they can’t help but smile at each other.

Sam, what’s your favorite thing about Glen?
My favorite thing about Glen is pretty much everything, which I know sounds cheesy! He is the best part of my life… he’s kind, funny, generous, considerate, supportive, and my best friend… I don’t know what I would do without him. I feel like I didn’t know I was incomplete until I met him and became whole.
You knew you’d marry him when…
I knew I would marry him when one day I was driving to work and it just came to me that there was no one else in the world for me. He makes everything better, and every day with him is so much fun. He puts up with my crap in a way that makes me feel like I can do better the next day. I couldn’t have created a more perfect partner had I been given the chance to. I’m just… completely his.
Glen, what’s your favorite thing about Sam?
It’s her sense of humor. Sam has an infectious likability and it’s enjoyable to watch her display it to others. Whether she is conversing with someone she’s just met or someone she’s known for years, she brings wit and charm to make people smile. When it’s just us, she is not afraid to be herself and will do anything to make me laugh.
You knew you’d marry her when…
When I knew I couldn’t live without her. From early on in our relationship I knew we had something special. I was crushing pretty hard on her after our first few dates. After I got to know her more I was infatuated with this person who was occupying all of my thoughts. As we developed into a team and I knew she would always be by my side, that infatuation grew into a love that I couldn’t live without.
