I’ve found one of the biggest blessings with my job is having the opportunity to watch my friends and clients begin their journey as parents. This year has been incredible in that way, and I couldn’t be happier for (or more grateful to) the people who have invited me to document these times in their lives. It is pure bliss, to say the very least, and you all are so special to me.
A few weeks ago, when new-baby-boy Ryder was eighteen days old, I visited to take some portraits of him in his sweet nursery. I love this type of session, because he (and Mom and Dad) were comfortable and surrounded by their own things—many of which will become etched in his memory as a growing child.

Understanding for the first time just how much God the Father loves His children.
Falling in love with our son.
Falling deeper in love with my spouse.
Seeing my spouse in a new role as mom/dad.
Dreaming of a future as a family.
Working as a team caring for Ryder.
We’ve been on a high since we found out we were pregnant, and even more so when my water broke. It’s a life changing experience to have a child and our lives have changed in the best of ways. We feel incredibly blessed and are overwhelmed with love! God is good!
