A few weeks ago, just as the leaves began turning into Autumn versions of themselves, I got to meet up with Phil, Thi, Natalie, and Jack for family portraits. We’d originally hoped to take them early this summer, but plans changed, and I’m really thankful. It’s tough to beat photos of Spearfish in the fall, and it’s even tougher to beat it when the scenery is accompanied by a hiliarious (and very fortunate looking) family.
Natalie and Jack kept me laughing the entire time with their jokes and silly face ideas, and I couldn’t get enough of the way Phil and Thi just rolled with the punches. It’s clear they’re really, really happy, and it shines through every photo.
Phil and Thi, thank you so much for asking me to take these photos, for being so laid-back, and for laughing at my jokes—even though Brett informed me that my delivery is usually all wrong. 🙂 I loved spending the afternoon with you, and could have photographed you and yours for hours.
