It’s easy to see that they’re a perfect match. A team, consisting of two players who happen to be crazy about each other. Neither is first or in charge or more important.
I arrived to Aric and Andrea’s wedding in Custer State Park early, and found Aric setting up lawn games and overlooking the finishing touches. The handmade chalkboard sign summed up how he was feeling in a word. Finally. This day was a long time in the making, and he was ready—as he had been for years—to marry his best friend. He had no apprehension. There were no nerves. Just excitement.
After making it official, they began their first evening as husband and wife with a duet. He sang melody, while she harmonized. And then they switched. Neither was first or in charge or more important. I think they have this team thing figured out.
