Chauncey & Kamaria: Philip, South Dakota Wedding Photography

Among all of the beautiful things that were said on their wedding day, the sentence that struck me the most was spoken quietly,  just before Kamaria walked down the aisle on her father’s arm.  In a moment of waiting, I overheard the minister tell the groom, “There are a lot of prayers being answered today.”

I thought about that sentence as I kneeled near the front of the aisle to catch the look on Chauncey’s face when he saw her. I thought about it again when they grinned at one another during their vows. And when they danced their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Labrier.  That sentence was so simple and so pure, and somehow summed up everything that Kamaria and Chauncey mean to one another. What they have found in each other is a gift from God—an answer to prayer— and it’s clear that they couldn’t be more grateful.

Kamaria and Chauncey, thank you, thank you for having me as your photographer. I can’t tell you how honored I am to have been a part of your wedding day. Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Kam and her girls got ready at the Triangle Ranch Bed & Breakfast near Philip, and I was in heaven. The light and atmosphere were perfect for such a special time.

Kamaria, you were such a stunning bride!

Gorgeous bridesmaids!

Chauncey, you clean up nice, too.

Kamaria waiting upstairs in her grandmother’s house, just minutes before the ceremony…

I think it’s safe to say that Kam and Chauncey weren’t really listening to the reading. And I love this picture because of it. 🙂

Another gorgeous bride and groom captured by Jessica’s gifted eye and trusted camera. These are simply beautiful. Seems they belong in a Bridal magazine.
