Jessica and Kody: Black Hills Engagement Photographer

Although he’d known of her in high school, they were in college when their paths crossed again. Their lives were changed when he asked her to dance. That dance led to conversations and dates. And not so long after those conversations and dates, did Jessica and Kody decide they had found something worth keeping.

I couldn’t have been more excited to meet up with these two for their engagement photos. Although the weather wasn’t quite as spring-like as what we’d been having (what is this, March?), I couldn’t help but ask for “one more photo” more than once. Every time he’d make her laugh, she’d return the favor. He held her tight, turning the wind from bitter, to not-so-bad.  That something they found in each other, isn’t very hard to see. And I’m thankful to be the one who gets to document it.

Jessica and Kody, thank you for a wonderful afternoon. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you driving to Rapid City, your friendly outlook,  and your willingness to brave the cold. I can hardly wait for your wedding this June! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites.
