Hunter: Chadron, NE Newborn Photographer

While in Chadron this weekend, I met baby Hunter. Needless to say, it didn’t take long at all for me to become smitten with him and his welcoming parents. And Kayley, their beautiful black lab, who could see me coming from a mile away. It’s hard to resist throwing a ball to someone who waits so politely.

I didn’t know if there was a chance of wide-eyed Hunter falling asleep, but after a bottle from dad, he couldn’t help himself. I was lucky to have Shelley and Matt there to help me move him around a bit, because he was sleeping so softly.  I couldn’t bear the thought of being the one to wake him up. We had just enough daylight after baby photos to sneak in a family portrait at the park—complete with Kayley—who I am certain will be Hunter’s best friend. And from what I’ve seen, she’ll be waiting patiently for him to be old enough to throw that ball.

Shelley and Matt, thank you so much for inviting me to Chadron to take these photos of your new addition! I loved getting to meet you and Hunter. Enjoy a few of my favorites!

My favorite. Babies are incredible, aren’t they?

Love this family picture.

Just waiting…
