Remember shopping for school supplies, and the list said you needed 24 crayons? And then, on the first day of class the kid next to you pulled out the box of 96? Oh. The envy. Anyone? No?
My sister gets it. She called from the clearance aisle of Hobby Lobby, and announced that there were two sets of Prismacolor colored pencils just waiting for us. All 132 of them. And they were beautiful. And they came in a tin.
I pulled the trigger. Which is a little sad, because I’m not very strong in the drawing department, and haven’t had time as of late to improve. But it’s ok. I’ll have them when I’m ready to get good, or if I ever find myself back in second grade.
