I met up with this handsome pair earlier this fall for their engagement shoot. It was my first time out shooting since Landon was born, so truth be told, I was afraid I’d be distracted or feel a little rusty. But, once we started walking and talking, I fell right into rhythm, and was SO THANKFUL to be out enjoying the pine trees and amazing weather in such good company.
Marc and Katie, I had such fun with you on this shoot, and can hardly wait until your wedding next year! Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Katie, what’s your favorite thing about your Marc?
There are so many things I love about Marc, it’s hard to pin down one favorite. I love his sense of humor, his ambition and work ethic, his enthusiasm for life and his patience to teach me new things. He pulls me out of my comfort zone and calms my heart when life gets hectic. He’s everything to me, and I wouldn’t change a thing about him.
You knew you’d marry him when…
I knew I’d marry him when all the little moments began adding up – the laughing, the conversations, the inside jokes, the memories. It was just so easy and fun to be around him. I’ve never laughed with someone so much. We have the best conversations. We love spending genuine time together. Being around him literally, as cheesy as it sounds, fills my heart with joy.
Marc, what’s your favorite thing about your Katie?
My favorite thing about Katie is how she can always make me smile and is always down to go somewhere and have fun. She finds ways to surprise me, and we always share the same great ideas. Often times she will speak what is on my mind, and we complete each other’s thoughts.
You knew you’d marry her when…
I knew I would marry Katie after being 360 miles apart from this person and realizing how much I missed being with her. Long distance never stopped us because of the joys on the other side of the state. Every trip across the state was a blessing to be together. I couldn’t wait to spend everyday with her.
