Christina and Torey knew of one another in a past life—a life involving high school wrestling matches and what I can only assume was a very cute cheerleader. Not knowing much of anything about the other, there was never any thought that they might cross paths again.
As the future should have it, they met formally a few years later at a Halloween party. (By formally, I mean as a Guido and Husker football fan.) They found each other so charming, that they decided to see each other again the next day. Clearly, it went well, because not long after, Christina wrote in her journal that she had found the man she was going to marry.
Torey and Christina, I hope you had a very happy Halloween, remembering how your story began. Thank you so much for driving to Hill City, for enduring that painfully romantic snowfall, and for not caring too much that your shoes were soaking wet. 🙂 Enjoy a few of my favorites!
Love this! found your work through Creative lives status on Fb…
The black and white hug from behind is definitely a winner! 😀
