If a Little Help is All You Need…

Planning a wedding is hard. At least it was for me. When I got married, I had only been to a few weddings. I didn’t have a clear vision for what I wanted the day to be like. And worst of all, there was no Pinterest. (I also had to walk uphill both ways to school in a blizzard…) I tried to tear pages out of magazines and bookmark things online, but I had so many ideas swimming around, I couldn’t seem to devise a cohesive plan or aesthetic. I sometimes wish I could re-plan our wedding, knowing what I know now about the industry, and with the confidence to make it completely ours. (And can I just say? I couldn’t find a gray bridesmaid’s dress to save my life!)

There’s so many tools for brides these days that I can’t imagine not taking advantage of some them! I came across an app called “Vera Wang on Weddings”, and downloaded it to see if I thought it’d be helpful for brides-to-be. Although I didn’t dive too deep, it has some features I thought would be really useful, even if you already have a pinboard dedicated to your wedding.

The app allows you to add new and existing contact information for guests and vendors. You can check off important tasks, and with the calendar, get a clear picture of what’s next on the to-do list.  Because Vera is no stranger to style, you can browse gorgeous photos of dresses, stationary, and cakes for inspiration.

And the best part? You’ll know exactly how many days are left before you’re officially a Mrs.
