Brock & Brie: North Platte Wedding Photography

To be truthful, I’m not even sure where to start, other than to say that my heart is completely full. So full, that I feel I might burst out laughing. Or crying. Or perhaps in song and dance. I know, it sounds a little dramatic and quite unnecessary—but this beautiful bride is one of my greatest blessings.

Brie and Brock just have it. The kind of love you can feel. The kind that is clearly seen without the need to search. It is simple and endless, vibrant and completely selfless—in all the ways that love should be. It is the kind of love you hope your friends will find and hold safely in their hearts. And after all of that, their love is even more.

Mr. and Mrs. Mickelson, I could talk way too long about how much it means to me to be a part of your wedding—and your lives—but nothing I could say will describe just how happy I am or how blessed you are to have found each other. So instead, I’ll show you how good looking you are. Love to you both.

*Warning: I’ve posted more pictures than normal. I couldn’t stop myself. And worst of all, I felt the need to narrate.

One of my favorite details was Brie’s necklace. It went perfectly with her pearl earrings from Brock, and it’s going to become an heirloom that she’ll pass down.

Brie’s dad, seeing her for the first time in her dress. Such a sweet moment.

Brie and Brock decided to see each other before their ceremony, and I couldn’t stop smiling from behind my camera. This picture makes me want to hug them.

Brie always dreamt of being married in a church, and walking down the aisle to bagpipes. So that’s exactly what she did.

I think the photo on the left is my favorite of the day. I get a lump in my throat every time I see it.

Married!

Brie made all the guys’ boutonnières.

My favorite portrait of the bride and groom. I think it should go in Brock’s man cave.

Jared’s speech had everyone laughing.

Sometimes Brock makes fun of Brie for crying.

But then he makes up for it by being handsome and chilvalrous.

Brie has moves.

And Brock does, too.

But not like Dave’s…

I thought this photograph was the perfect ending to this post. Such happiness.
