I love photographing seniors. There’s always a little bit of excitement bubbling just under the surface, and it usually boils over before the session is over.
With Kendra, the feeling hadn’t been contained at all, even before we even got started. She had a few perfect locations in mind, and seemed to take in every moment. Talk of sports and school and the arrival of acceptance letters filled the afternoon. It was only appropriate that we end at the gym, with a basketball in hand.
Kendra’s excitement wasn’t so much from having her picture taken (although, it may have contributed), but more from knowing that she was finally here. Ready to take them. Ready to conquer her senior year, and whatever might lie beyond it.
Kendra and Lesia (who, I might add, didn’t do any leering…), thank you so much for asking me to take your pictures. I can’t wait to see where life takes you! Enjoy some of my favorites.
