Chris and Rachel, your wedding day was stunning. And even more than that, it was so personal that I left that afternoon with a joyful heart, knowing more of your story. Congratulations, and thank you, thank you, for letting me be a part of this day. Enjoy a few of my favorites! —js

What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day?
Rachel Says: The speeches from my dad and Chris
Chris Says: Seeing Rachel for the first time in her dress
Jessica’s Take: Chris and Rachel’s ceremony was especially wonderful, and undoubtedly personal. I loved watching the way they looked at one another, and the happiness on the faces of the people around them.
What was your favorite detail of the wedding day?
Rachel Says: The food and the flowers, especially my bouquet
Chris Says: The food!
Jessica’s Take: The flowers were incredible. I also loved that it was a morning ceremony with a champagne brunch. It was unique and relaxed, but still felt really special and elegant.
Any advice for other couples planning a wedding?
Rachel Says: Do it fast. The longer you have to plan the more you add, the more things you have to dwell over the and the longer you have to stress about things that in the end don’t really matter. If you got married and enjoyed it no one else really knows if little things didn’t happen.
Chris Says: You can make it as easy or as difficult as you want it.
What’s the best part about being married so far?
Rachel Says: Getting to see each other every day.
Chris Says: Same.
