What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Paige Says: Saying our wedding vows surrounded by the best loving family and friends.
Mike Says: The most memorable part(s) of our wedding day for me was seeing my wife in her amazing dress, seeing all the hard work she put into the wedding, and spending time with our close friends and family.
Jessica’s Take: Mike and Paige took a few minutes before the ceremony to exchange cards and gifts, and invited me to come along. I got to be a fly on the wall during a very sweet, personal series of moments. I was happy that they carved out time to talk quietly without any distractions before they became Mr. & Mrs.
What was your favorite detail of the wedding day?
Paige Says: My favorite details were the handmade chocolate cake with passion fruit carmel, along with all the little handmade chocolates that my sister Jessica and brother-in-law Chris of Chocolatier Blue blessed us with, the handkerchief my grandmother sewed, and my our amazing flowers done by my Mom’s best friend/aunt Lori.
Mike Says: My favorite detail of the wedding day was the little moments throughout our wedding day that were spent with Paige. She kind of made everyone else disappear.
Jessica’s Take: I couldn’t help but smile at all of the nieces and nephews in the wedding party (eleven!). They had all the best dance moves, are Mike and Paige’s biggest fans, and were all so fun in the way that only kids can be. And, they were troopers during formal photos!
Any advice for other couples planning a wedding?
Paige Says: Step back and take everything in because it goes so quickly, focus on each other, and communicate throughout the process.
Mike Says: Plan ahead and be organized (or have an amazing wife that does pretty much everything like mine), so you can relax and enjoy the big day since it flies by so fast.
What’s the best part of being married so far?
Paige Says: The best part about being married is that I get to spend everyday with my best friend that I now call my husband. I love all the little things he does for me and his unconditional love. Can’t wait to see what the future brings for us!
Mike Says: The best part of being married so far is being able to see my wife everyday, and spending time with the woman that makes me a better man.
