It was a slightly windy and enormously beautiful evening when I met Sierra in Custer State Park for her senior photos. She brought along several outfits, a few ideas, and her truly helpful mother. It wasn’t long after introductions that we were chatting up a storm. You know—intellectual stuff— like straightening curly hair and being terrified of math.
I admire Sierra’s cheerful demeanor. Her smile is reliable and true and the perfect companion to her brown eyes. She blames her father entirely for not being able to keep a straight model face, and I couldn’t imagine what absolute seriousness would look like on her, anyway. The laughter that followed each attempt was far more fitting.
Sierra and Tessa, thank you so much for asking me to take your senior photos! I had such a fun time, and hope your year has had a wonderful beginning. Enjoy a few of my favorites!
