Mallory: Black Hills Senior Photographer

I think that if I were still in high school, I’d want to be one of Mallory’s friends. She is soft spoken in a way that makes you listen to every word she speaks, but not so shy that she didn’t have anything to say at all. That, and she’s really photogenic.

We spent the afternoon at Mallory’s home walking up and down the dirt road until we were struck with inspiration. It wasn’t hard to find, and I seemed to stop her every few steps for another shot.

Mallory will be attending her senior year of high school in Omaha, NE, and wanted to have her pictures taken in Hill City before she left.  I was so happy to get to be the one to take them, and loved hearing her thoughts about what direction she wants her life to take after she graduates. She’s hoping to study something creative, which I highly recommended.

Mallory and Lori, thank you for asking me to take your senior photos. I wish you the best for your senior year, even if it’s not quite where you’d hoped it would be. Omaha will be glad to have you. Enjoy my favorites!
